Challenge
A new way to pay only works if people know how to use it, and in a busy station nobody stops to read instructions.
The signage had to explain contactless payment at a glance, guide commuters straight to the right spot on the turnstile, and stay accessible to every rider, including people with visual impairments.

Final thoughts
Paying for a ride is now as simple as following the signs.
Bold gradients, clear contactless icons, floor graphics that point the way and Braille on every decal come together in a simple, consistent system across turnstiles and station floors.
Next projects.
